Eagles Bumped to Fifth in Mid-Atlantic Poll

KANSAS CITY- When the National Soccer Coaches Association of America released regional polls earlier this week, Eastern University Men's Soccer (5-1-1) had moved up to the fifth spot in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The Eagles ahve won five of six matches since opening the year with a home draw to Alvernia University (Ranked 10th in the Mid-Atlantic. Eastern's only blemish since then came in a 3-2 loss at No. 6 Rutgers Camden (1st in the South-Atlantic Region). 
The Eagles will face a tough test this Saturday when they open Freedom Conference play at DeSales University. The Bulldogs (6-2-2) earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament last fall after the Eagles topped them 3-0 in the Freedom Conference Semifinals.
