Game 15: Eagles v. Delaware Valley

ST. DAVIDS, Pa.--Eastern Men's Soccer scored two second-half goals to secure a win in the final game of the season on Saturday afternoon against Delaware Valley College.
The Eastern Eagles, after surrendering an early goal, came back to beat the Aggies 3-1 on Saturday's senior day.
The Eagles honored seniors Dan Shields and Matt Lieg prior to the game. Lieg started in goal and played there the first half, making a save and allowing a goal in the fifth minute. A failed clear by Eastern set up the Aggies' Justin Mannato for a laser to the upper right corner, just out of Lieg's reach. Lieg entered as a field player in the second half.
Eastern's Mitch Osterhouse tied the game 1-1 in the fifteenth minute. After Ben Barnhart's corner kick bounced around the box, Barnhart gathered the ball near the 18 and crossed the ball to Osterhouse who made a leaping header at the six for the score.
Barnhart picked up his second assist in the 50th minute at the end of three consecutive corner kicks, serving a ball to the far post. John Remsberg headed the ball over the fingers of Aggies' keeper Chase Clement to put Eastern up 2-1 on his first collegiate goal.
Eastern added an insurance goal in the 85th minute when Brandon Beaumont had a shot near the left post deflected by Clement right back to his feet. Beaumont then shoved the ball to Josh Cirocco who finished the goal, his fourth this season.
The Eagles finished the season 9-5-1, 3-4 in the Freedom Conference, and 8-1-1 at home.
