Eagle Road Classic Champion

KANSAS CITY- The National Soccer Coaches Association today released the first in-season Region Rankings for the 2012 season. After sweeping a pair of games in the Eagle Road Classic and earning a draw against an unbeaten Alvernia squad, Eastern University Men's Soccer appeared at No. 8 in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

"We are happy to see our team ranked in the top 10 in a very competitive region," Eastern Head Coach Mark Wagner stated. "It shows the continued growth of our program. It is still very early, and we are much more concerned with where we finish at the end of the season."
The young Eagles will face their toughest test of the season to date when they travel to Rutgers-Camden, the top-ranked team in the South-Atlantic Region, tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
